The Standing Seam system combines the aesthetics of an architectural panel with the strength of a structural panel. These panels offer excellent uplift resistance, ensuring the roof’s reliability, and can be used on roof slopes as low as 1:50. This provides designers with a flexible solution to meet various design challenges. Panels are available in 0.55 mm or 0.6 mm TCT Galvalume. Galvalume is a high-quality cold-rolled steel with a corrosion-resistant metallic coating of aluminum and zinc.
The Standing Seam system is a field-seamed solution that features a slim rib design with exceptional uplift resistance, engineered to withstand even the toughest conditions. This system incorporates concealed fastening and on-site roll forming, creating single-length panels that form a one-piece, non-pierced roofing solution. The system can include optional factory-installed hot melt mastic for low-slope applications, ensuring weather-tight seams. A standing seam roof is one of the most weather-resistant roof systems available in the industry. Special clips allow for thermal roof expansion and contraction during extreme temperature changes. All trim is weather-tight and aesthetically pleasing, providing a clean, finished look. Additionally, the only panel penetration required, other than for end laps, is located outside the building envelope. End laps are tightly sealed using either specialized components or by swaging the panels.
